Who We Are

Blue Ridge Christian Academy offers a non-denominational Christ-centered education that helps children reach their maximum potential through training in Biblical truths, pursuing academic excellence, and embracing aspects of a classical Christian education.

 

Ministry Outcomes

• Understand and desire a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and then grow in discipleship based, at least in part, on how it is taught and modeled to them at school (realizing this depends upon the work of the Holy Spirit in each student's heart) while being willing to be held accountable and to hold others accountable in love.

• Know that God's truth is authoritative and is the foundation for all living and learning in order to develop a biblical worldview while both understanding the culture in which they live and being ready to confidently defend their faith.

• Have an increased understanding of the nature and character of God by appreciating His creativity (science, language arts, and fine arts); His orderliness, precision, absolute truth, accuracy, immutability, and infinitude (science and math); His sovereignty and faithfulness (history, Bible); and His righteousness, mercy, glory, and love (Bible, history).

• Recognize the value of each person being made in the image of God and appreciate the uniqueness of individuals regardless of their socio-economic status, race, religion, gender, nationality, or other distinguishing characteristics.

• Develop critical thinking and technology skills enabling them to gather, analyze and evaluate information in order to be effective communicators through spoken and written word.

• Demonstrate wise stewardship of their God-given gifts and talents by developing them for the glory of the Lord to be used by Him in service as He directs.

• View their bodies as temples of God, enjoy diverse physical activities, and desire to honor God by living a healthy lifestyle.

• Develop the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their pursuit of higher education in accordance with God's will for their lives.

 

• Supported in their primary role of training their child as we come alongside them.

• Ministered to as needed and appropriate.
