The early school years are important ones for your child. Therefore, Blue Ridge Christian Academy provides a loving Christian atmosphere where children can become creative decision makers, constructive problem solvers, cooperative playmates, and enthusiastic admirers of God’s creation. Our program provides a learning environment rich in experiences and hands-on learning materials. Christ is at the center of our program.

Our goals for early education include:

  • Providing a secure and loving environment for a child’s development. 
  • Developing a sense of wonder, appreciation, and excitement for learning about God and His world.
  • Encouraging each child to develop their own creativity and uniqueness by giving them the freedom to try new ideas.
  • Encouraging activities and experiences involving large and small motor skills.
  • Enhancing the child’s ability to express his thoughts verbally and creatively.
  • Establishing a sense of social responsibility by encouraging cooperation and sensitivity to others.
  • Developing a positive attitude toward school and learning, and encouraging good listening and work habits.
  • Developing an assurance of God’s love for the child and encouraging a loving response to God and others.

The Daily Schedule for 2010 - 2011

 There are two options for Kindergarten:

Kindgergarten 3/2 class will attend from 8:15 – 12:15 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and attend from 8:30 – 3:15 on Tuesday and Thursday.

Full Day Kindergarten class will attend from 8:15 to 3:15 Monday thru Friday.


The Facilities

Classrooms are large, bright and cheerfully decorated and arranged to facilitate a variety of activities throughout the day. The kindergarten also has its own playground with age appropriate equipment for maximum fun and safety.
