Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes

Lending a Helping Hand to Samaritan's Purse

BRCA collected an overwhelming 135 shoeboxes this year to send to Samaritan's Purse for Operation Christmas Child. Before sending the boxes on their way, BRCA students and teachers prayed for the children and families that would recieve the boxes.  Many BRCA students opted to pay their $7.00 donation on the the Samaratin's Purse website and can follow thier box to their final destination.  Many students have gotten reports that their boxes are headed to Lebanon!  

BRCA's high school students went to the Samaritan's Purse Warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina to help sort, check, and prepare the boxes for their journeys around the world.  The students experienced a sense of awe at the massive numbers of shoeboxes and volunteers at the warehouse.  They considered themselves lucky to be able to contribute more than just a shoebox this year.
